10 Cars You MUST Drive in Your Lifetime

#9: 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

One of the classic American muscle cars, the 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray represents the peak of American automotive engineering.

The late 1960s were the age of Woodstock, free love, and good, ol-fashioned American muscle. While there are a lot of cars from this era that many of us would love to drive, the 1969 Corvette might just take the cake.

With a classic look and feel, and plenty of power in a V-8 engine, the 1969 Corvette is one car you absolutely need to drive at some point. If you don’t have a father or friend with this vintage ‘vette handy, you can buy your own for $30,000-40,000 these days.

#8: Ford Model T

Even if the Ford Model T might not be close to the sexiest car on this list, it is undoubtedly a classic – probably the most classic, iconic car ever produced.

Accordingly, you’d be remiss not to drive one of the original production cars at least once in your lifetime; it would be downright un-American to not do so.

While the Model T tops out at about 40 miles per hour and packs only 20 horses into its engine, the Model T is still a fantastic piece of history to cruise in around the countryside.

Expert estimates put the number of functional Model Ts in this country at about 25,000, so hopefully you can find one to take out around the neighborhood sometime – don’t even think about getting on the freeway, though.
