The Best Coupes of 2015

By on July 2, 2015

#2: 2015 BMW 4-Series

Ramping up a little in price without getting too expensive, we come to the BMW 4-Series coupe, which at $41,745 still gives you excellent value without having to break the bank. The 2015 BMW 4-Series is sleek and sexy, giving you all of the quality you would expect from a BMW, inside and out. This car is not the fastest or flashiest, but it looks great and drives even better.

The 2015 BMW 4-Series is equipped with either a 240-hp 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder or a 300-hp 3.0-liter turbo inline-six, giving you the choice to opt for more horses if you want to go faster. However, even with the standard, smaller engine, the 4-Series coupe is capable of doing zero to sixty in under 5 seconds, so acceleration and agility are of no concern here.

Furthermore, the 2015 BMW 4-Series is available as a convertible or hardtop, and you can choose between a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission, as well as all-wheel or rear-wheel drive. The interiors are classy and look great, as you would expect from a BMW, and the exterior is also sure to inspire heads turning. If you’re willing to spend a little more money for an excellent coupe, the 2015 BMW 4-Series is a fantastic choice.

#1: 2015 Audi A5

Specs:

  • MSRP: $40,925
  • Fuel Economy: 22 mpg city / 32 mpg highway
  • Engine: 4-cylinder, 2.0 liter

Another coupe that’s in the affordable range for a luxury brand is the 2015 Audi A5. This car is beautiful both inside and out, and gives you an elite driving experience at a reasonable price. The A5 is certainly not the fastest or most powerful Audi on the road, but for the price, the 2015 Audi A5 gives you excellent bang for your buck, and you’ll feel like you are driving a truly luxurious vehicle.

The 2015 Audi A5 uses a turbocharged 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder engine that gives you plenty of oomph for its size. The car accelerates quickly, and the control and handling of the A5 are downright terrific. The A5 is also available in both manual and automatic transmissions, but you won’t find a hard top here – the car comes exclusively as a convertible, which isn’t really a bad thing.

This car is sporty and sexy, and designed to impress. The cabin is roomy and classy, with luxury finishes you won’t find in less expensive coupes. The outside is sleek and aerodynamic, giving you that iconic sports car feeling. All in all, the 2015 Audi A5 is our favorite coupe around today, and if you’re willing to spend $40,000, it is arguably the best coupe you can buy without breaking the bank.
