Mansory’s S63 Coupe: More Torque than a Bugatti Veyron

By on May 22, 2015

Mansory, a well-known car modification and luxury customization company in Germany, has given the Bugatti Veyron a run for its money – and actually surpassed the world’s most famous supercar in the process.

Mansory has tricked out a Mercedes-Benz S-Class S63 AMG Coupe in a way that is downright silly. The company’s S63 Coupe is modified to provide the sort of torque that has rarely been seen in this world or any other. The Mansory S63 Coupe puts out an insane 960 lb/ft of torque, easily exceeding the 922 lb/ft that the Veyron can crank out.

And let’s be honest, anything that can beat the Bugatti Veyron when it comes to power or speed is something worth taking a moment to recognize and appreciate. So needless to say, we are very impressed with the beast that Mansory has unleashed.

The Mansory S63 AMG Coupe weighs in at two tons, giving this burly machine plenty of weight to throw around to complement all of that power. The massive torque numbers are electronically limited, which we think is probably the safest option for everyone involved. The car also features a bhp figure of an astound 888. The Mansory S63 is not nice – it is mean, raw, and absolutely full of power.

Don’t let the heavy weight of the car lead you to thinking it can’t go FAST as well. Mansory claims that their S63 can 0-62 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds, and the car can reach a top speed of 190 miles per hour. Those aren’t Bugatti Veyron numbers, as the Veyron’s top speed is a much higher 250-plus, but the Mansory S63 is certainly no slouch.

Needless to say, the Mansory S63 is a one-off creation and won’t be coming to a dealership near you any time soon. However, as with any impressive modification, this goes to show that the future of supercars looks very, very bright – and we have so much more insane developments yet to come in the automotive world.
