Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG: Lots of Power and Lots of Money

By on April 3, 2015

When we were discussing the best cars and trucks for off-road driving yesterday, we saved a spot at the top for Mercedes-Benz with the G500. As we mentioned, Mercedes G-Wagen series has given us many powerful, durable vehicles that are every bit as luxurious as they are big, tough, and powerful.

The newest Mercedes G-Series to hit the market will be the G65 AMG, which will make its way to a dealership near you late this fall. The details are out, and this car will be very impressive, and also very, very expensive.

Mercedes is no stranger to luxury cars, and even with this powerful behemoth, nothing is held back insofar as giving the G65 AMG touches of class and excellence at every turn, no matter whether you want to take the car to work, or out to the mountain trails for a few days.

For all of the performance and features available in the new 2016 Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG, you’ll have to shell out approximately $220,000 – quite the price tag for a car that isn’t exactly the sporty, speedy, sexy lightning bolt that most cars in that price range are.

Instead of speed and sizzle, though, the Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG gives you plenty of muscle and plenty f luxury. Equipped with a supercharged V12 engine, this car puts out a brawny 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, allowing you to plow through rugged terrain and tow anything you’d ever want to.

On the inside of the G65 AMG, you will find luxury leather and wood interiors, a top-of-the-line infotainment system, and all of the other fancy features you would expect from a Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes G-Wagen class has distinguished itself for years with its high-brow approach to raw, unadulterated power, and the G65 AMG is just the latest in the line of excellent SUVs for the company.

Just make sure your bank account is looking rather robust before you even consider buying your own G65 AMG. The car will hit dealerships this November.
