How about exotic sports car.
It’s time to throw away those pre-conceived notions about what renting a car is supposed to be like. Instead, welcome to the life of luxury.
Have you ever wanted to drive a Dodge Viper? How about a Rolls-Royce?
For only $2,200 per day, you can!
OK… OK… we know. $2,200 is absurd. But how about $900 to drive a Ferrari California for a day? I know my buddies better be throwing down something like that for my bachelor party!
Renting a Luxury Car
All the big brands are doing it these days. Enterprise started in 2006, but in the summer of 2013, Hertz launched its Dream Cars line in 35 locations. From Milwaukee to LA, Pittsburgh to Miami Beach, if you’re wanting to rent an exotic car, all it takes is a few hundred bucks.
And with the recession clearly in the rear-view mirror, this exotic business is heating up. According to Steve Short, Enterprise’s VP of Leisure Business Development, the number of rental days for their exotic collection jumped 50 percent year over year.
There’s probably some demand that was out there that wasn’t being met
